Job Description

Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced  Web Developer to support the ground up development, build and continuous management, and maintenance of a WordPress-based website to include updating educational and outreach content, creating and managing comment capability, uploading and managing video content, and creating and managing sections for administrative functions of the office, including shared calendar administration. 

Responsibilities:

• Designing, building, and maintaining a website using authoring or scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools, and digital media.


• Analyzing information to determine, recommending, and planing the development of new websites and modifications of an existing one. 


• Analyzing user needs and site requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and resource constraints.


• Applying coding and testing standards, applying security testing tools, and conduct code reviews.


• Compiling and writing documentation of site development and subsequent revisions, inserting comments in the coded instructions so others can understand the program.


• Consulting with managerial, engineering, and technical personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, and suggest changes.


• Building sustainable relationships of trust through timely, open, and interactive communication.

Required Qualifications:

• Proficient in WordPress and Microsoft SharePoint, leveraging both platforms for effective content management.


• Experienced with open-source software, adapting and implementing solutions to meet specific needs.


• Skilled in utilizing content management systems (CMS) to streamline content creation and delivery.


• Adept at creating workflows, including implementing security permission changes using workflow commands.


• Proven ability to build customized reports, forms, and new features within CMS platforms.


• Expert in configuring and administering search functionality, site collections, and developing new content types in WordPress and SharePoint.


• US Citizen with an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance with polygraph.

Desired Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience with web application development. 


• Certification as a SharePoint Administrator.

This position is located in Chantilly, VA.

 

The estimated salary range for this position is $170,000.00 - $210,000.00, commensurate on Clearance, technical skillset and overall experience.
