Compensation Overview The annual base salary range for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary will be determined by factors including scope, complexity, location, skills, education, credentials and experience. Employees are eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards as part of our compensation and benefits program. Salary Range $91,800.00 - $151,600.00 What Is the Opportunity? Travelers is seeking a Workday HCM Consultant to join our organization as we grow and transform our HR Technology landscape. This role will primarily be aligned to Workday HCM and requires partnering with stakeholders across HR and HR Technology to understand business needs, define requirements, configure, test and implement based on user or system design specifications. The candidate should have strong Workday HCM domain knowledge and be up to date on the latest releases, and be able to consult on the touchpoints and dependencies between Workday HCM and other Core HCM modules (Benefits, Absence, Compensation, Payroll, Recruiting, Talent and Third-Party Integrations). Primary lead in the Workday HCM module to include best practices for the system architecture from concept through requirements, design, build, test, deploy and ongoing maintenance. Provide subject matter expertise within HCM and partner with stakeholders to understand pain points, prioritize requirements and identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies by leveraging Workday functionality. Utilizes business and system knowledge to support business needs. Establish collaborative relationships and alliances throughout the organization. Possess in-depth knowledge of a particular business capability, product and/or system domain. Understand impacts of changes to current state business processes, data, feeds and systems; identify potential impacts in other system domains. May participate in departmental or divisional planning; provide subject matter expertise to Business and IT Projects. Make recommendations for operational process improvements on projects and/or system enhancements using business acumen. Work with stakeholders to prioritize requirements effectively based on business value, risks and constraints. Develop requirements work plans, identify task dependencies, develop estimates and determine resource skill requirements; support risk management and change management activities. Validate the solution (people, process and technology) meets business capability, product or system objectives. Identify appropriate subject matter experts and stakeholders to participate in requirements sessions. Documentation and Training Maintain documentation of current state systems and processes. Ensure development of training materials and business implementation/transition is completed. Production Support / Troubleshooting Lead troubleshooting and defect resolution, including resource requests, environment migrations and ticket management. Proactively communicate status of enhancements, change requests and defects; manage change, defect and enhancement request processes and assign approved work for the team. Support multiple projects concurrently as assigned. What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have? Bachelor’s degree in Business, MIS, or other related field preferred. Five years of experience supporting Workday HCM including configuration expertise. One year of experience leading technical teams preferred. General understanding of how other HR functional areas interact with HCM.
