AML Investigator Sr. Investigator I- EDD The Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) Sr. Investigator I supports various Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) functions which will primarily focus on EDD High Risk Customer reviews across the Capital One enterprise. The EDD Sr. Investigator I will work closely with EDD management across all sites to perform other critical projects on an ad hoc basis. Responsibilities: Subject matter expertise in all Capital One lines of business Proficiency in completing high quality EDD High Risk Customer reviews in alignment with procedures Review system generated alerts, assess impact to EDD processes, conduct research as required, and document results in written format. Provide management feedback on alert rule effectiveness. Handle issues as appropriate for advanced investigation and analysis. Support team supervisors in executing certain additional responsibilities. Perform special projects as needed. Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience At least 1 year of fraud, or at least 1 year of investigative experience, or at least 1 year of compliance experience Preferred Qualifications: 2 years fraud experience, or 2 years of investigative experience, or 2 years of compliance experience Bachelor's degree Are you looking for a challenging role that includes the convenience of working virtually at home? This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
