They utilize tools to minimize loss, including identifying incidents of theft and fraud, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, monitoring physical security, auditing Electronic Article Surveillance, and promoting a shrink elimination culture. Additional responsibilities include preparing detailed case reports, preserving evidence, interacting with law enforcement, and testifying in court.
