Commercial Roofing Estimator Commercial Roofing Estimator

Position Overview
The Commercial Roofing Estimator will be responsible for evaluating and preparing detailed cost estimates for commercial roofing projects. This role requires a strong understanding of roofing materials and techniques, as well as the ability to analyze project specifications and requirements to provide accurate estimates that align with company standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project plans and specifications to understand roofing requirements.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial roofing projects, including materials, labor, and overhead.
• Consult with contractors, suppliers, and clients to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
• Utilize Edge Estimating software to streamline the estimating process and improve accuracy.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and techniques to provide the best solutions for clients.
• Collaborate with project managers and sales teams to ensure estimates align with project goals and budgets.
• Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather data for estimates.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a roofing estimator, specifically in commercial roofing.
• Strong knowledge of roofing materials, including EPDM, PVC, and TPO.
• Familiarity with Edge Estimating software is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills to provide accurate estimates.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
