Key Responsibilities Control System Design Develop electrical control systems tailored to client specs Choose components and define test strategies PLC & HMI Programming Create and optimize PLC/HMI programs Use platforms such as RSLogix, Studio 5000, Siemens TIA Portal Technical Problem-Solving Detect issues early and provide long-term, innovative solutions Compliance & Standards Ensure adherence to UL 508A, NEC, IEC, and relevant codes Customer Collaboration Interface with clients, vendors, and internal teams for solution delivery Documentation Produce system documentation: procedures, schematics, technical references Required Skills & Qualifications Industrial Experience: 3+ years in control systems or industrial automation Programming Proficiency: PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens) HMIs and SCADA systems Software Knowledge: AutoCAD for schematics Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook EPlan (nice to have) Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with UL 508A, NEC, IEC standards Work Style: Independent, detail-focused, high integrity Communication Skills: Strong technical writing and customer-facing communication Travel Requirement: Minimal; up to 10% Important Notes Visa Sponsorship: Not available — U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders only Ideal Candidate Profile You thrive in a role that combines design thinking, automation programming, and collaborative delivery.
