We are seeking an Embroidery Machine Operator to join our team! You will help oversee operational activities and ensure excellent quality control.

• Responsible for set up of the machine, running one sample prior to processing entire order and threading the right colors at each needle.
• Operates sewing machine to embroider decorative designs on garments such as hats, bags, etc.
• Position items under needles, using marks on machines, clamps, templates, or cloth as guides.
• Record quantities of materials processed
• Must meet or exceed productivity and quality standards outlined by the company.
• Reads work order to determine type and location of embroidery.
• Selects size and color thread and draws it through machine guides and bobbin.
• Turns setscrews to regulate machine settings.
• Observes sewing operation to detect breaks in thread, defects in stitching that indicate machine malfunction and notifies supervisor of malfunction.
• Inspect garments and examine repair tags and markings on garments to locate defects or damage, and mark errors as necessary.
• Select supplies such as fasteners and thread, according to job requirements.
• Mount attachments, such as needles, cutting blades, or pattern plates, and adjust machine guides according to specifications.

​ Qualifications:

• Previous experience in plant operations or other related fields
• Familiarity with plant tools and equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Minimum of 1-year experience

• Embroidery Machine- 1 Year
• Reading/Notating Pick/Order List Details

Pay Rate: $16.50/hr.

Schedule: M-F 8am-4:30pm
