Forensic Psychologist
Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Forensic Psychologist to join our dynamic team. As a Forensic Psychologist, you will apply your expertise in psychology to the legal and criminal justice systems, providing critical insights that help solve crimes, assess offenders, and support victims. Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments of individuals involved in legal proceedings, including defendants, witnesses, and victims.
* Provide expert testimony in court proceedings, presenting complex psychological concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
* Collaborate with law enforcement agencies, attorneys, and other professionals to develop strategies for understanding and managing criminal behavior.
* Offer therapeutic interventions and treatment plans for individuals involved in the criminal justice system, including rehabilitation programs for offenders.
* Conduct research to advance the field of forensic psychology and contribute to the development of evidence-based practices.
* Participate in interdisciplinary teams to assess and manage risk factors associated with criminal behavior.
* Provide consultation and training to law enforcement personnel and legal professionals on psychological principles relevant to criminal investigations and proceedings.
Qualifications:
* Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology or Forensic Psychology from an accredited institution.
* State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a psychologist.
* Specialization or certification in forensic psychology preferred.
* Experience conducting psychological evaluations and providing expert testimony in legal settings.
* Strong knowledge of psychological theory, research methods, and ethical guidelines.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
