Responsibilities:

• Manage arrangements, services, embalming's, casketing/cosmetize, and removals as necessary
• Coordinate arrangements with families and other stakeholders to provide compassionate funeral, cremation, and cemetery services
• Assist families in selecting products and services, and finalizing financial arrangements
• Prepare and oversee visitations, funerals, and memorial services
• Ensure compliance with administrative policies and procedures and complete all required paperwork accurately and promptly
• Maintain licensure and certifications to meet regulatory requirements
• Assist in preparing and transferring cremated remains according to industry standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• Active Funeral Director/Embalmer license in the state of North Carolina or ability to reciprocate
• 1+ year of funeral directing experience
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to adhere to the professional dress code of the funeral home
• Availability for on-call work as needed
