The GSM is responsible for managing the dealership’s new vehicle sales operation. In this role, you are accountable for the quality, capability and effectiveness of the dealerships retail sales and f&I force, and for ensuring that the dealerships standards for customer satisfaction, performance and value are met. It is your responsibility to make certain that objectives for sales, profits and cost controls are on target. It is also your charge to select, train and support your sales team, so that they can provide customers with an outstanding dealership experience. As part of your commitment to deliver an exceptional dealership experience, you are expected to meet or exceed dealership objectives. The primary goal of the GSM is to ensure that the sales and f&I team has the support it needs to offer customers exceptional service with quality, integrity, passion and pride. Benefits:

Responsibilities:
  • Develop train and support a professional sales team that can provide customers with an outstanding experience.
  • Reviewing development goals for all sales department members on a yearly, quarterly, monthly and daily basis.
  • Conducting performance reviews to help team members achieve individual goals.
  • Managing the dealership’s new vehicle and pre-owned sales operations.
  • Establishing and improving policies and procedures.
  • Make certain that objectives for sales, profits and cost controls are on target.
  • Achieving consistently high scores and positive feedback from customer surveys.
  • Managing the sales process.
  • Developing a business plan.
  • Producing management statistics that show Sales Consultants continuously improve their proficiency.
  • Delivering an exceptional dealership experience.
