Commercial Lines P&C Account Manager (CSR) in an Independent Agency, servicing clients for multiple commercial agents.
We are seeking a candidate who requires little to no training in the insurance world, that we can drop into a vacant position who can pick the work load up and start running with it immediately . To be eligible for this position you must have working knowledge, to include rating and working with underwriting, of insurance carriers like The Hartford, CNA, Acuity, Liberty Mutual, Chubb, AmTrust, Mercury, Nationwide, Texas Mutual and such. If you do not have this experience, please do not apply for the position.
Duties include, but not limited to, working closely with agency producers and owners; constant and daily use of Agency Systems - Newton (our agency management system); marketing and remarketing policies with carriers; creating professional emails to communicate with clients, agents and carriers; completing Acord applications and supplementals; working with carriers, brokers and MGAs; handling change requests and endorsements; vehicle ID cards; invoicing; processing carrier downloads; creating proposals; issuing certificates of insurance; backing up other account execs, and more. .
Our clients range from small artisan contractors, hotels, medium and large contractors, habitational, trucking, restaurants, office buildings, medical offices, hospitals and so many more.
This is a busy high production position that requires an energetic and focused individual who can multi-task and handle deadlines well. We are seeking a long-term, production and processing focused, exceptional person for a lifetime career opportunity. You should be capable of working alone without needing much direction. A detail oriented individual who can document all calls and emails is necessary. Proficient and professional writing skills are required. Must be highly computer literate and have up-to-date working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel and more. Only experienced, self-motivated, positive and cheerful applicants need apply. No remote or work at home opportunities - all work performed in our business office off of Broadway and 410.
Current active P&C General Lines Agent license required .
Prior Commercial Lines experience in an independent insurance agency required.
Full-Time position; no part-time available.
Hourly pay with opportunity to earn bonuses. Health insurance available.
