Summary: We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious
Loader Operator to join our operations team and play a vital role in daily yard functions. The ideal candidate will be experienced in operating heavy equipment to move vehicles efficiently, safely, and with care throughout our self-service yard. If you enjoy working outdoors, have strong equipment-handling skills, and are passionate about operational excellence-this position is for you.
Qualifications: - 2+ years of loader or heavy equipment operation experience (auto salvage preferred)
- Proven record of safe equipment use in fast-paced environments
- Understanding of vehicle handling, staging, and yard layout best practices
- Ability to follow clear safety protocols and company procedures
- Comfortable working outdoors in extreme weather conditions
- Pre-employment drug Screening is required
- Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- Valid operator certification or willingness to obtain
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Safely operate front-end loaders and heavy equipment to move vehicles and materials
- Stand vehicles on wheel stands per company safety and display procedures
- Maintain accurate yard vehicle placement to support customer visibility and accessibility
- Perform daily safety checks and basic loader maintenance using company software
- Coordinate with production and inventory teams for smooth operational flow
- Maintain a clean, organized yard with a focus on safety and efficiency
- Follow wash schedule of company equipment to maintain cleanliness standard
- Support a positive and professional work environment
