We are looking for a reliable and organized Mail Clerk to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing mail ensuring efficient processing and delivery. We offer a flexible work environment and encourage candidates from various backgrounds to apply.
Responsibilities:
Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages to appropriate departments or individuals.
Prepare outgoing mail and packages for shipping including labeling and weighing.
Maintain accurate records of received and sent mail.
Assist with inventory management of mailing supplies.
Operate mailing equipment such as postage meters and label printers.
Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a mailroom or clerical position is a plus but entrylevel candidates are welcome.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic computer skills for recordkeeping and communication.
