MARKETING INTERN 

LEARNING OPPORTUNITY IN THE BUSINESS/ COMMERCIAL AREA OF THE MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY FIELD

Objective: Learn how to use marketing tools and best practices in creating value content at a fast-growing consultancy; help keep the business development and marketing “engine" running while others are focused on client project fulfillment.

DUTIES AND OPPORTUNITIES

• Use Linkedin Sales Navigator, Apollo.io, Buzz.ai, generative AI, Canva, etc. in marketing, targeting and prospecting
• Research and target relevant medical technology companies (disease area, current standard of care, technology description, etc.)
• Learn about and understand the various stakeholders in the U.S. healthcare ecosystem
• Gain exposure to medtech and healthtech startups and their challenges and priorities
• Use AI to develop content for publication on LinkedIn or medtech-specific platforms
• Other marketing and business development activities as needed/ as skills allow

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Asks fantastic questions, expresses genuine interest in expanding their skillset, tries to get as much exposure as possible
• Demonstrates leadership, empowering themselves and others, making suggestions and anticipating next steps
• Communicates effectively and succinctly
• Exercises good judgment in navigating an environment with some uncertainty and ambiguity
• Has good research skills to bring to the position

TIME COMMITMENT

• Approx. 5 hours per week, intended to be supplemental to other study or internships
• Live access to President/CEO of the consultancy for at least 1 hour per week for mentorship, career and study guidance, U.S. healthcare education, etc. beyond the 5 paid hours.

YOU SHOULD KNOW

• This internship is completely flexible in terms of the time you perform the work.
• The company will provide a reimbursement for a monthly Sales Navigator Core LinkedIn membership for you to use during the course of the internship.
