Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM- 5PM

Location: Onsite - 3517 SW Wilshire Blvd, Joshua, TX 76058

Primary Responsibilities: 

• This position is responsible for all components of the patient experience ranging from patient in-take, office visit, patient close-out, and appointment scheduling. The position also oversees the reporting function for the clinic including compliance specific reports as well as corporate statistics
• General clinic office functions that support efficient and effective patient care including patient registration, insurance verification, collection of applicable co-insurance and/or co-payments
• Greets patients as they arrive and manages 15-minute wait time
• Manages cashier box and daily deposits according to company policies
• Processes walk-in patients and visitors
• Manages medical records and fax inbox
• Ensures all correspondence is scanned and/or filed, processes requests for medical records release and maintains appropriate logs
• Quality metrics driven- PML management

• Independent problem identification/resolution and decision making skills
• Must be able to prioritize, plan, and handle multiple tasks, demands simultaneously
• Strong communication and inter-personal skills
• Excellent written, verbal and communication skills

Required Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
• 2+ years of experience working in a medical office
• Intermediate level of proficiency in PC software including EMR

The salary range for this role is $16.88to $33.22per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
