Our Mission:

To transform students' and families' lives through research-based 1-on-1 reading and spelling instruction. We use explicit, systematic instruction and multisensory (Orton-Gillingham) techniques to help kids and teens become fluent readers, good spellers and confident students.

Your Role: 

To contribute to Kids Up Reading Coaches’ strategic growth by playing an active role on our leadership team. You’ll help manage the company, build our culture and tutor students.

Requirements:

• Must live in Arizona, preferably Tucson
• Classroom teacher, reading specialist, Special Ed teacher or speech-language pathologist
• 3+ years of experience teaching students to read/spell with the Science of Reading (LETRS, Orton-Gillingham, TRE, etc.)
• Skilled in one or more of the following: website maintenance (Wix), marketing/ social media, sales (working with new families), supervising (other tutors), finance (Quickbooks/payroll/invoices), HR (on- and off-boarding) and training
• Native/fluent English with standard US pronunciation and excellent grammar
• Strong organization and communication skills, with attention to detail
• Willing to dive in, learn and help grow the company
