Regional Veterinary Practice Manager ("PM Pro")

About UrgentVet:
UrgentVet bridges the gap between daytime general practice and emergency/overnight care, offering after-hours care for canine and feline patients without the additional expense of emergency clinic fees. Our practices offer care for common urgent cases, including wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and euthanasia, and each of our paperless clinics is specially designed to deliver efficient care and equipped with cloud-based EMR, digital x-ray, and a full suite of IDEXX in-house lab equipment. About the Position:
The PM Pro is a dynamic position within the American Veterinary Group (AVG) of hospitals and provides leadership and guidance to our veterinary practices when there is a practice manager vacancy at one of our clinics. The PM Pro must be a road warrior and able to adapt to a variety of practice environments as they support various clinics within the UrgentVet network of practices.
In the absence of a permanent practice manager, the PM Pro provides structure, leadership, and focuses on change management to develop and lead the practice team. The PM Pro also works with the Regional Director of Operations to recruit and onboard a new practice manager to join the hospital team. Typical 'placements' at our hospitals are 60-90 days as we work to hire and on-board a permanent practice manager for the team. The PM Pro is responsible for day-to-day hospital operations and serves as a liaison between the hospital team and our corporate support functions, including: marketing, payroll, IT, recruiting, finance, etc. This is a full-time corporate position reporting to the Senior Director of Operations.The PM Pro is responsible for day-to-day hospital operations at their assigned locations, and serves as a liaison between the hospital team and our corporate support functions, including: marketing, payroll, IT, recruiting, finance, etc.
