• Identify and remove impediments that hinder the team’s progress.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
• Support team members in adopting self-organization and accountability.
• Track and communicate key Agile metrics (velocity, burn-down charts, etc.) to stakeholders.
• Ensure transparency of progress and alignment across technology, product, and business teams.
• Promote collaboration across backend, frontend, QA, DevOps, and design teams.
• Guide the organization in scaling Agile practices where appropriate.
• Maintain compliance with security, regulatory, and operational standards within a fintech context.
🎓 Required Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Equivalent professional experience may be considered.
💼 Required Experience
• 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
• Proven track record of facilitating Agile adoption in software development teams.
• Experience in fintech, banking, or other regulated industries is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience working in distributed, remote, and multicultural teams.
• Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken) to work with international stakeholders.
📚 Specific Knowledge
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• Knowledge of Agile metrics, reporting, and tools (Jira, Confluence, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes, DevOps practices, and their relation to Agile delivery.
• Awareness of compliance, security, and regulatory needs within fintech or financial environments.
🛠️ Technical Skills
• Proficiency with Agile collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, Miro, Trello).
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Familiarity with cloud-based environments (AWS preferred).
• Knowledge of metrics dashboards and reporting tools.
• (Scrum Masters aren’t coders, but these help in a tech-driven environment)
🤝 Soft Skills
• Strong servant-leadership and facilitation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Conflict resolution and problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to coach teams and individuals in Agile practices.
• Proactivity in identifying improvements and driving adoption.
• Adaptability to a dynamic, fast-paced fintech environment.

If you meet the requirements and feel motivated to support the growth of a global fintech, we want to meet you.

At EFY, you’ll have the opportunity to work in a dynamic, innovative, and multicultural environment—contributing to cutting-edge financial technology that is reshaping how people and businesses transact across borders.
