Title: Senior Scrum Master (heavy data experience any financial, capital markets experience) Location: local to Seattle, WA - 3 days in the office This job is open for a Scrum Master with primary focus is on data management (any exposure with Snowflake would be perfect). Lastly, this group deals with PORTFOLIO MANGEMENT and ASSET MANAGEMENT. So, a very strong plus if they have understanding/working experience with ASSET MANGEMENT or PORTFOLIO MANGEMENT, but not totally necessary. Need very strong data experience, and someone who is with capital markets financial experience Financial services background is required. Regulatory. Snowflake experience in the DMO space. SNOWFLAKE IS REQUIRED TO MAKE A PLACEMENT FINANCIAL EXPERIENCE / Portfolio management / asset management is more IMPORTANT. SNOWFLAKE experience is MORE IMPORTANT Description: The Scrum Master will assist multiple Agile development teams with facilitating and coordinating Agile Scrum processes in addition to guiding and coaching the team on Agile Scrum principles and practices . They will work with teams across the organization to understand requirements and will facilitate planning and estimation with the development teams . The Scrum Master will utilize Jira to track and measure completion of work and provide status updates to key stakeholders . Primary Responsibilities: RECRUITERS MUST RUN CHECKLIST. • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.
• Assist in backlog grooming to ensure requirements are known and stories are sized.
• Track and communicate Epic/Story status, risks and issues to primary stakeholders and project management.
• Implement and track metrics to facilitate delivery of high-quality solutions on time.
• Provide estimations for work completion as well as communication of potential trade-off decisions for prioritization .
• Coach team members in Agile frameworks and guide team to higher scrum maturity .
• Remove roadblocks and resolve conflicts that impede the team's progress .
• Lead the effective and efficient delivery of large complex cross-functional projects and manage implementation activities for concurrent work-streams.
• Anticipate bottlenecks, drive issue resolution, identify risk, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical information

• Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, Epics, user stories, automated testing, and backlog refinement)
• Excellent communication skills and servant leadership skills
• BA/BS in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or related area of study from an accredited college or university with applicable agile and project management experience.
• IT delivery background with software development experience
• Experience with Agile/Kanban Software Development.
• Certification in Agile methodologies, such as PMI-ACP or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) - They are looking for a senior person, SHOULD BE CERTIFIED.
• Financial Services background is a plus.
