A prestigious mid-size firm located in Baltimore, Maryland with a chambers ranked practice is looking for a Senior Tax Attorney. While not a large firm, this firm represent high-end clients on complex matters, akin to the type of work in big law firms.

The right candidate will have experience:

• providing tax structuring advice to clients in connection with individual transactions, partnership, and corporate planning
• Relevant transaction work includes real estate development, real estate investment fund formation, real estate debt and equity financing, venture capital investing, M&A, and tax sensitive real estate investments (such as renewable energy tax credits and LIHTC)
• General corporate and partnership work including tax planning for small business succession, employee equity participation, joint venture arrangements, complex shareholder agreements, and more

The firm is NOT expecting someone to be an expert in everything, but is looking for someone with 8+ years of experience. The right person could come in as a senior associate, counsel, or partner, pending experience.
