Job Details

• Seeking Advanced EMT/Paramedic for ground ambulance service in remote Alaskan town of Nome.
• Town is served by a critical access hospital.
• Call volume averages 400 BLS calls per year, response times and transport times less than 10 minutes.
• Crew is EMT I driver and advance EMT/paramedic attendant.

Job Requirements

• Must be fully credentialed with AHA BLS minimum.
• Must be culturally sensitive and respectful.

Unit Specific Information

• Shared housing is provided, no pets, S/O or children to accompany.

Additional Details

• ALL TRAVELERS ARE REQUIRED TO SHOW PROOF OF COMPLETED COVID VACCINATIONS PLUS BOOSTER.
• FLU VACCINES ARE ALSO REQUIRED AND EXEMPTIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
• Proof of vaccination must include the vaccine type, lot number, expiration date, date and site administered.
• The full name of the employee must also be visible in the submitted record.
• If the vaccines were administered when the employee was a child and is applying with different name, (married, etc.) then this must be indicated in the documentation.
• As an alternative titers from a diagnostic lab indicating appropriate level of immunity can be submitted.
• Titers cannot be more than 10 years old.
