The Vice President of Finance will serve as a strategic leader responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the organization. This executive role is crucial to driving financial performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the organization’s mission to deliver exceptional healthcare. The VP of Finance will play a key role in financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and strategy, while collaborating with executive leadership to optimize operational efficiency and long-term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:Strategic Financial Leadership:
Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the organization’s goals and growth plans.
Serve as a key advisor to the CEO and executive team on financial and operational matters.
Financial Planning & Analysis:
Oversee long-term financial forecasting, annual budgeting, and scenario planning.
Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis and projections.
Accounting & Reporting:
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and healthcare regulations.
Oversee internal controls, audit processes, and compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
Revenue Cycle & Reimbursement:
Optimize revenue cycle processes, including billing, collections, and reimbursement strategies.
Ensure compliance with healthcare payer regulations, including Medicare/Medicaid and commercial insurers.
Operational Efficiency:
Partner with clinical and operational leaders to evaluate and improve cost-efficiency across departments.
Lead financial risk assessments and cost-containment initiatives.
Team Leadership:
Manage and mentor the finance and accounting teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
Support professional development and succession planning within the finance department.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA strongly preferred.
10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including senior-level roles.
Prior experience in the healthcare industry is required , with knowledge of healthcare finance, reimbursement, and regulatory compliance.
Demonstrated success in strategic planning, financial modeling, and capital management.
