This position will report to our EnerSys Energy Systems business, which serves the telecom, cable broadband, industrial, renewable, and data center markets. Our portfolio combines our stored energy expertise with power systems, enclosures, and renewable energy products to deliver world-class solutions for diverse applications such as 5G, broadband, Internet of Things (IoT), data center, and solar power. Job Purpose


The Picker/Packer Operator will pull, pack, and assemble product to ship to customers.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Pull, pack, and assemble product to ship to customers.
• Utilize equipment to cut wood products down and establish pallet cleating processes.
• Handle smaller volume size pallets and break the 12-14 battery pallets into 4, 6, and 8 quantities to ship to customers. This will require use of manipulators and conveyor lines.
• Will be trained to boost batteries.
• Keeps record of timeliness of order fulfillment.
• Must be able to operate a lift truck, and have or be able to obtain a forklift truck license
• Raise concerns on supply shortages or developing supply or quality issues.
• Do root cause analysis to address issues that arise and put in corrective action.
• Work collectively on a team to assist in all areas needed to ensure jobs are completed to meet customer demand.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED from an accredited institution and at least 1-year experience in an administrative support role and or shipping receiving position at a manufacturing facility or distribution center
• Ability to use computer systems including MRP and MS office
• Ability to read and interpret documents in local language, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to do mathematical functions, including add, subtract, multiply, divide, interpret Pareto Charts, Bar graphs, Flow charts, and other quality tools

General Job Requirements

• This position will work in an office setting, expect minimal physical demands.
• This position requires you to drive a company vehicle. Therefore, you must be able to pass the company's driving requirements. Certain vehicles may also require a specific drivers license and have additional driving requirements.
