Salary:

Title: Assistant Stylist 

Location: Washington, D.C.
Salary: Competitive salary and benefits package based on qualifications; classified as full-time salaried; exempt and not eligible for overtime.
Reports to: Shallon Manion, Fashion and Lifestyle Director 

Travel: Occasional travel may be required 

Position Overview 

The Assistant Stylist will work closely with the Buying Coordinators and Sample Coordinators to help manage the flow of samples and merchandise in and out of our studio, as well as support photoshoot-related tasks. 

This person will make sure everything is prepped and ready for the Fashion Director, Stylists, and content team to style. They will work closely with the styling team to manage and oversee the organization of our fashion closet and studio. 

Core Responsibilities

  • Organize and prep all garments and accessories to ensure all items are photoshoot ready
  • Assist stylists on photoshoots with steaming, dressing models, SKU notes, packing and on-set assistance
  • Collaborate with the sample coordinators to repackage, inspect, and monitor all products leaving the studio, while also overseeing sample management for both pre- and post-production
  • Ensure merchandise and styling props are returned with proper documentation and on time
  • Collaborate with stylists to ensure the right pieces are brought into the studio and that the closet is organized and merchandised for style-outs and photo shoots
  • Prep various items for photoshoots
  • Liaise with buying and private label teams to align on product assortments for content pushes.
  • Prepare styling powerpoint notes in preparation for Ecommerce shoots
  • Share ecom styling recaps with team 

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of relative experience
